Brickell is leading South Florida with a new type of chamber - welcoming residents, students and local organizations.
Being the first of its kind as a community chamber in South Florida, the Brickell Community Chamber reaches more individuals - thus providing greater impact, cultural inclusion, social influence and community support.
We are not a chamber of commerce, meaning we can partner with chambers of commerce (as we have already throughout South Florida), but more importantly our memberships grant residents, students, political representatives and those who work or own business in Brickell a voice for community prosperity. To further this initiative we hold an Initiative Circle Chair for Residents/Renters providing the first opportunity for an Impact Leader for the people. Thus leading to our mantra, Brickell for the People.
What is a community chamber?
Purpose:
A community chamber aims to enhance the overall quality of life in the community.
Membership:
Membership includes community members, residents, social networks, local organizations, and local government representatives. This inclusivity allows for a more diverse representation of community interests.
Activities:
Community chambers may engage in activities that address social, cultural, and environmental issues, such as organizing community events, coordinating volunteer efforts, and fostering community pride.
Advocacy:
While community chambers may or may not advocate for local businesses, they focus on advocacy for community needs and interests, such as education, public services, and health initiatives.
Holistic Approach:
The focus is often more holistic, addressing various aspects of community quality of life, including cultural, social, economic and community development.
